The MeddialCare Seller Policy outlines the rules, obligations, and standards required for all sellers—including manufacturers, distributors, service providers, and verified partners—participating on the MeddialCare Marketplace.
By onboarding as a seller, you agree to comply with this policy and all other MeddialCare platform rules.
1. Eligibility to Sell
To qualify as a MeddialCare seller, you must:
- Be a registered business or authorized distributor.
- Provide valid company documents (CAC registration or equivalent).
- Submit verifiable product certification where applicable (SON, NAFDAC, FDA-equivalent, ISO standards, etc.).
- Agree to periodic audits and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact and operational information.
2. Product Standards
All items listed on MeddialCare must meet the following criteria:
- Genuine, non-counterfeit, and in lawful condition.
- Compliant with regional and international health equipment standards.
- Clear product descriptions with accurate specs, photos, manuals, and warranties.
- Updated stock availability and lead times.
Clearly stated product condition: New, Refurbished, Pre-Owned, OEM, or Replacement Part.
Prohibited items include:
- Counterfeit equipment
- Unverified medical devices
- Expired or damaged consumables
- Items restricted by law or regulation
3. Pricing & Transparency
Sellers must:
- List fair, competitive, and transparent prices.
- Avoid hidden charges or last-minute price modifications.
- Clearly specify what’s included (accessories, installation, calibration, consumables, etc.).
- Honor any discounts or promotions once published.
MeddialCare reserves the right to request price justification for high-value or unusually low-priced items.
4. Order Fulfillment Obligations
Sellers are required to:
- Confirm and dispatch orders within the stated processing time.
- Provide valid tracking details or delivery confirmation.
- Ensure packaging meets safety standards for medical equipment.
- Coordinate with MeddialCare Logistics (where applicable).
Failure to fulfill orders may result in:
- Penalties
- Listing suspension
- Permanent removal from the marketplace
5. After-Sales Responsibility
All sellers must:
- Provide genuine warranty coverage where applicable.
- Support buyers with installation guidance or training as required.
- Offer timely responses to service requests.
- Collaborate with Meddialer (our repair & installation arm) when necessary.
6. Returns, Refunds & Disputes
Sellers agree to:
- Honor MeddialCare’s Return & Refund policy.
- Accept returns for defective, misrepresented, or damaged items.
- Process refunds promptly after product verification.
- Cooperate during dispute investigations.
MeddialCare may intervene and refund customers directly if the seller is unresponsive.
7. Seller Conduct & Compliance
Prohibited seller actions:
- Listing false information or fake certifications
- Diverting MeddialCare customers outside the platform
- Manipulating reviews or ratings
- Harassing customers or staff
- Offering unsafe or fraudulent products
- Sellers must maintain professional communication at all times.
8. Payments & Settlement
- Sellers will receive payments according to MeddialCare’s settlement cycle.
- Deductions apply for logistics, platform fees, financing (MeddialPlus), and service charges.
- Chargebacks or fraudulent activities may affect settlement.
9. Data Privacy & Security
Sellers must:
- Handle buyer information responsibly and only for order fulfillment.
- Never store, misuse, resell, or share customer data.
- Comply with MeddialCare’s Privacy Policy and NDPR/GDPR requirements.
10. Listing & Account Suspension
MeddialCare may suspend or terminate seller accounts for:
- Repeated policy violations
- Fraudulent activities
- Safety or regulatory concerns
- Customer complaints or poor performance metrics
- Sellers may appeal decisions by submitting supporting documentation.
11. Intellectual Property
Sellers must ensure all products respect intellectual property laws.
Violations may lead to listing removal, account suspension, or legal action.
12. Modification of Policy
MeddialCare reserves the right to update this Seller Policy at any time.
Sellers will be notified of major changes.
13. Acceptance
By creating a seller account, listing products, or fulfilling orders on MeddialCare, you confirm your agreement to these policies.
